NewICONHS offers nursing degree and diploma pathways for students at different stages of their education and professional development. Compare the available programs below, then open the relevant program page for current eligibility, duration, recognition and admission information.
Undergraduate Degree
A four-year bachelor’s degree pathway for students who meet current PNMC admission criteria and want to build a professional nursing career.
FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent with at least 50% marks and Biology; age 14–35; open merit (criteria reviewed August 2026).
Degree for Registered Nurses
A two-year bachelor’s degree pathway for eligible registered nurses who want to advance from diploma-level nursing preparation.
Diploma in Nursing, relevant midwifery/post-basic documentation and one year of RN experience under current PNMC criteria.
Nursing Support Diploma
An entry-level nursing support pathway for eligible female applicants, focused on safe supervised patient-care support.
Current PNMC pathways include FSc Pre-Medical 45%, Matric Science 45%, or Matric Arts 50% plus FA 50%; age 14–35; female applicants.
Community Health Diploma
A community and public-health oriented nursing pathway with emphasis on health promotion, maternal and child health and community education.
Current PNMC criteria list FSc Pre-Medical 45% or Matric Science 45%; age 14–35. Confirm the current intake before applying.
Maternal & Community Care
A midwifery pathway for eligible applicants interested in maternal and community-based care.
Current PNMC criteria list Matric Arts or Science with at least 40% marks and age 14–40. Confirm the approved duration and intake with Admissions.
Post-Registration Specialty
Post-basic clinical specialty education for eligible registered nurses. Specialty availability must be confirmed for the current session.
For eligible registered nurses with required nursing registration, diploma and any current NOC or specialty-specific documentation.
