The Lady Health Visitor (LHV) diploma is a community and public-health oriented pathway for eligible female learners. It prepares students for health promotion, maternal and child health, community education and other responsibilities defined by the approved curriculum and professional framework.
Current PNMC Admission Criteria
- FSc (Pre-Medical) with at least 45% marks and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects; OR
- Matric (Science) with at least 45% marks and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.
- Age limit listed by PNMC: 14–35 years.
What LHV Education Focuses On
The approved LHV curriculum should guide the site’s description of maternal and child health, community health, health education, prevention and other learning areas. This page is intentionally kept distinct from CNA, CMW and BS Nursing.

Current community-health experience, fieldwork, practical arrangements and facilities should be described only with verified NewICONHS information and authentic photography.
